What you need to know about Georgia’s vaccine website and mass vaccination sites

ATLANTA — Georgia has launched a new website to help people sign up for COVID-19 vaccines, as well as four new state-supported vaccination sites.

Gov. Brian Kemp announced the launch of myvaccinegeorgia.com. People eligible in Phase 1A can pre-register for the vaccine. If you are not currently eligible, you can sign up to receive email updates to learn more about when you can get the vaccine.

People who are eligible, which includes people over 65 and their caregivers, residents and staff of long-term care facilities, healthcare personnel and law enforcement, firefighters, EMS and 911 operators, can make an appointment at one of four mass vaccination sites across the state.

  • Macon Farmers Market Bibb County 2055 Eisenhower Parkway Macon, GA 31206
  • Albany Georgia Forestry Site Dougherty County 2910 Newton Road Albany, GA 31701
  • Habersham County Fairgrounds Habersham County 4235 Toccoa Highway Clarkesville, GA 30523
  • Delta Air Museum Fulton County 1220 Woolman Place SW Hapeville, GA 30354

“These four sites are an important next step in our continued vaccination efforts to protect our most vulnerable and at-risk Georgians,” Gov. Kemp said. “By strategically locating these sites near historically underserved communities, we will ensure more Georgians have access to the life-saving vaccine. These mass vaccination locations will be able to scale up quickly from the initial 22,000 doses per week capacity once the state is provided more supply from the federal government.”

The site warns that vaccines supply is still extremely limited in Georgia.

Governor Brian Kemp announced Thursday the state is working to finalize plans over the next two weeks to expand the criteria for COVID-19 vaccinations. The next phase will likely include Georgia teachers.
