Metro Atlanta patients may soon have more access to medical cannabis oil

Patients in metro Atlanta may soon have more access to medical cannabis oil.

After opening medical cannabis stores in Marietta and Macon, Trulieve Georgia, which also has a license to open one in Pooler, has been granted a license to add a fourth in Coweta County.

Executive Director of the Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission Andrew Turnage tells WSB Radio with just over 28,000 registered patients in the state, Trulieve Georgia and the other class one license holder Botanical Sciences can each have up to six dispensaries.
