This week, Governor Brian Kemp signed a new 49-page order that extended dozens of restrictions charting out how businesses and restaurants must operate until Sept. 15.
Gov. Kemp has said he’s particularly worried about a surge in cases over the Labor Day holiday weekend, and is urging Georgians to wear masks, practice social distancing and take other precautions.
The governor joined Atlanta’s Morning News on Friday, Sept. 4th, with more on COVID guideline reminders ahead of the holiday weekend.

“Let’s don’t have a Memorial Day bump after Labor Day weekend. Let’s don’t have a July Fourth bump,” he said. “Let’s try to avoid that spike.”
