COWETA COUNTY, Ga. — It was a “pawfect” ending to what would have been a possible nightmare.
On Tuesday, K9 handler Anderson and K9 Marc were called to a scene about a missing 95-year-old woman, according to the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman, who has dementia, had been missing five hours before deputies were called.
Deputies say K9 Marc was able to quickly track and find the woman who was conscious and alert.
She was taken to Piedmont Newnan Hospital for further evaluation.
The department thanked K9 Marc for a job well done.
