FANNIN COUNTY, Ga. — A north Georgia police chief is out of the hospital after battling COVID-19 for 94 days.
Video posted by CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga showed the staff lining up and applauding as Blue Ridge Police Chief Johnny Scearce is released from the hospital on Thursday.
“Thank y’all. God bless. What a great hospital and staff,” Scearce said before he is wheeled out.
Dozens of the hospital staff lined the hallway and cheered him on as he begins the next chapter of his recovery from home.
