Man arrested in home invasion where woman was sexually assaulted, toddler held at gunpoint

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — U.S. Marshals have arrested a man they say was part of a home invasion robbery where a woman was sexually assaulted while the suspects held a gun to a 2-year-old’s head.

JaMarcus Davel Williams was taken into custody Saturday. He was one of four suspects who broke into a Jonesboro home in May. The victims were robbed of money and personal items and the woman was sexually assaulted, deputies say.

“A two-year-old child was present and a gun was held to the child’s head during the home invasion robbery,” officials wrote.

The victims have not been identified.

Williams was arrested by Marshals with the assistance of the Moultrie Police Department.

Williams was wanted out of Clayton County for aggravated sexual battery, cruelty to children, criminal damage to property, armed robbery, home invasion and kidnapping charges.

Williams is now in the Clayton County jail.
