2 men accused of exposing themselves in Cobb County, one in busy park

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Two men in Cobb County were arrested within just a few days of each other for indecent exposure.

One of those men, Samuel Collier, was in a busy Marietta park over the weekend when he reportedly exposed himself.

“I really am surprised. I’ve never seen anything like that at all here,” said Lynn Damato who was in Laurel Park at the time.

Damato says she and her husband spent most of Sunday in the park, but it was busy and she didn’t notice the arrest.

She says she is concerned that innocent people may have been subjected to the alleged act. She hopes it will not stop people from coming out to enjoy the park.

“[It’s] probably the best park Marietta has. It’s very old, but it’s safe. We’ve always felt safe, that’s half the reason we always come here,” Damato said.

A few days later, Danny Clark was arrested along Knoll Road and Turpin Road in Smyrna and charged with public indecency.

According to the arrest warrant, Clark was on the victim’s private property at the time.

Neighbors told Griffin that Clark lives nearby.

Jail records show that Clark is still in jail and Collier has since bonded out.
