No drought buster with out help from the tropics.

October is normally one of the nicest months of the year weather-wise, and it looks like most days of the coming month will live up to that in Georgia and much of the nation.

The only bad news is that while October usually sees lots of dry days, the lake levels continue to drop as the drought continues. IF Georgia can get some tropical system moisture it would help.

A bit of a chill in the air for the opening days of October but then mild conditions resume as you can see in Kirk's rainfall and temperature composite maps for the month of October, all days averaged together
