Drought stricken South gets soaking rain

Meteorologist Kirk Mellish's Exclusive 5-day Forecast

2-4 inches of rain on average over a two day period is badly needed, but will cause rush hour commute problems and slippery conditions with wet leaves and leaf clogged drains.

Today...Cloudy and chilly with periods of fog and rain likely on and off, isolated thunderstorm highs 58-62 lows 50-53

Tomorrow...Mostly cloudy and cool with rain and isolated thundershowers likely likely in the morning, diminishing by evening highs 60-64 lows 40-46

Wednesday...Partly sunny high 64 lows 38-44

Thursday and Friday...Sunshine and cool highs 58-63 lows 35-40
