U.S. Judge Says Apple Patents Too Far from the Tree
It's less of a next generation, and more of an update to the cutting edge of the tech world. A judge has denied Apple's request to stop Samsung phones from being sold in the U.S.. The iPhone and iPad manufacturer claims that Samsung copied key features of its products. Apple was awarded over $1 billion in August when a U.S. jury found in its favour. But the new ruling means Samsung can go ahead with sales of its Galaxy and Nexus series.
