Refugees Mark Two-Year Anniversary of Syrian Conflict
Hundreds of Syrian refugees march in Jordan's Zaatari refugee camp. On Monday, they marked the two-year anniversary of the Syrian uprising, which began on March 15, 2011. The U.N. estimates that 70,000 Syrians have died in the conflict. Around a million more have fled to camps like these in neighbouring countries, hoping with each day that Bashar al-Assad's government will be defeated.
