Interstate Incidents:
  • Atlanta: Crash...I-75/85/nb at Highway 166, in the center lane.
  • Fulton Co.: Crash...I-20/eb past Fulton Industrial Blvd., in the 2nd left lane.
  • DeKalb Co.: Crash...I-285/wb at Ashford Dunwoody Rd.
  • Gwinnett Co.: Stall...I-85/sb before Jimmy Carter Blvd.
  • Gwinnett Co.: Crash...I-85/sb at Pleasant Hill Rd.
  • Fulton Co.: Crash...I-285/wb at Roswell Rd.
  • DeKalb Co.: Crash...I-285/nb after I-20.
  • DeKalb Co.: Crash...I-285/sb at Glenwood Rd.

Major Highway and Surface Street Incidents:
  • Fulton Co.: Traffic Light Mistimed...Windsor Pkwy. at Peachtree Dunwoody Rd. Expect major delays.
  • Gwinnett Co.: Crash...Brasselton Highway. at Auburn Rd.
  • Gwinnett Co.: Crash...Steve Reynolds Blvd. at Pleasant Hill Rd.
  • DeKalb Co.: Crash...Covington Highway at Young Rd.
  • Douglas Co.: Tree Debris...Post Rd. ramp to I-20/eb, in the left lane.
  • Coweta Co.: Traffic Light Trouble...Highway 34 at Eastgate Dr.

Ongoing Construction:
  • DeKalb and Gwinnett Counties: Peachtree Industrial Blvd. (Highway 141) in both directions between I-285 and the Peachtree Pkwy. split, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. today.
  • Atlanta: Sewer Repair...Metropolitan Ave. at Grant St. One northbound lane will be blocked on Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Atlanta: Sewer Repair...Piedmont Rd. at E. Wesley Rd. A lane in each direction of Piedmont Rd. is closed until 4 p.m today.
  • Coweta Co.: Resurfacing...I-85/nb between the Meriwether County line and Highway 34, in the left lane, in two mile increments, from midnight to 3 p.m., through today. Expect delays, especially during morning rush hour. Use Highway 29 as an alternate.
  • Gwinnett Co.: Expect various lane closures on I-85 near Highway 316 and also near Old Peachtree, as well as on Highway 316 near I-85. Lanes will not be affected in high-volume areas, during rush hour.
  • Douglas Co.: Bridge Construction...I-20 in both directions at Highway 92. Expect lane closures during non-peak drive times.
  • Atlanta: Sewer Repair...Juniper St. between 4th St. and 5th St. Two lanes are blocked until July 25th.
  • Fulton/Coweta Counties: I-85 in both directions south of Highway 74. There are various lane closure in both directions, during the midday and overnight hours. Expect delays and use Highway 29 as an alternate.
  • Atlanta: 14th Street Bridge Reconstruction...The bridge is closed until 2009. Use 10th St. and 17th St. as alternates. The I-75/sb and I-85/sb ramps to 10th/14th St. are closed until 2009 also, as well as Techwood Dr. and lanes on Williams St.
  • Cobb, Cherokee, and Bartow Counties: I-75/nb and sb from Glade Rd. to Barrett Parkway. There are various lane closures in this construction zone every weekend and on weeknights.
  • Cobb Co.: Bells Ferry Rd. is closed between I-575 and Chastain Rd. for bridge rehabilitation repairs. It will remain closed until July 23rd. Detours are in place.
  • Gwinnett Co.: Reversible Lane Removal...Highway 78/wb and eb between Stone Dr. and Killian Hill Rd./Bethany Church Rd. There are various lane closures during the overnight hours and weekends.
  • Douglas Co.: Bridge Damage and Repair...Post Rd. is closed at the Dog River bridge until further notice. Southbound motorists should take North Helton Rd. to Liberty Rd. as a detour. Northbound motorists should take Banks Mill Rd. to Daniel Mill Rd. as a detour. Truck traffic should use Highway 5 as an alternate.
