The Georgia Bulldogs are among 20 college football teams that will be immortalized during Saturday tailgates this fall.
Jell-O Jigglers University Mold Kits were released this week for cheer on Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida State, LSU, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCLA, USC, Iowa, Michigan State, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Oregon, and Wisconsin.
Sorry Auburn, you didn't make the cut.
The teams, according to the Houston Chronicle, were selected using special market data on fans' buying potential.
"We determined school choice by a combination of local retailer support and fan base to develop an optimal portfolio of universities across the country," Hermes Risien, Jell-O Brand Assistant at Kraft Foods, told the Chronicle.
Of course not everyone is thrilled about this product. Church leaders have voiced concern that the molds will be used to make Jell-O shots - gelatin mixed with alcohol - and used in games that encourage binge drinking among college students.
Kraft Foods, the maker of Jell-O, says that's not the intent.
"While we understand this may be popular among adults, the Jell-O brand does not advocate such behavior and does not promote recipes using alcohol," said Risien told AL.com.
