Angels Among Us Pet Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer-based organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from high-kill shelters in Georgia.
Hi there! My name is Alexi, and I'm a very handsome flame-point Siamese boy. My coloring is very subtle; I'm mostly cream with light orange points on my ears and tail. I've got the classic Siamese blue eyes, which are just a teensy bit crossed. Like my Siamese brethren, I can be kinda chatty, but I just want to make sure you know where I am in case you're jonesing for some snuggles! I'm a little shy at first, but only because I'm checking everything out. Once I settled into my foster home, my foster mama was impressed by my outgoing, laid-back personality! I looooove to be petted, and I'm even okay with my foster mama squishing my cheeks (she simply can't resist!). I spend my evenings curled up next to her with my purrbox rumbling. When I make biscuits on her leg, it means that I'm a happy boy. FYI, I make biscuits a lot. I told the Angels of Angels Among Us that I'm not super picky about my forever family. I'll be happy in a home with other cats, calm dogs, little kids, and/or big kids. I'm really looking forward to finding a family to call my own! If you're looking for a squishy, sweet, biscuit making kitty, I'm the one for you! Are you the one for me?

ABOUT ANAKIN SKYWALKER
Hi, Anakin Skywalker here and the Force must be with me since I was saved from a rural shelter (#projectemptyshelter)! I’m a 50lb, 6-7 month old border collie mix. [Anakin will still grow to be a larger dog] So, I’m the big brother you see and I’ve done everything in my power to make sure my little brother didn’t get hurt. I’m very protective of my little brother. [Luke Skywalkder] Since I’m protecting two of us, I’m a little more timid. We are showing signs of litter mate syndrome – so we need to be separated and cannot be adopted together. I’m still learning how to play and I really like to romp around with my brother. My favorite thing to do is dig down to the bottom of my water bowl. It’s so fun watching my foster fill it up again. I just found the toilet and boy was that fun! I’d much rather just stay home if you have to go somewhere. I get really carsick and honestly, I just don’t want to see the world. My foster family has other dogs and when I first met them, I barked a lot just to let them know not to bother me. But they were so nice, that I started playing with them. Now, I just love to be around everyone. We have been treated for worms and parasites, have all our vaccines, and we’ve taken a “no puppy pledge.” So we are ready to be adopted. We are working on some manners. We’ve never been taught manners before. It’s a lot of hard work, but when we get it right, we get some seriously tasty treats. I’m working hard on potty training. I’m not as good as my brother, but I’m trying hard. I would love a fenced in yard and kids are OK too. I’m not as scared of kids because they just aren’t as big. So, if you think you can work with me to help me gain confidence and always promise to use positive re-enforcement, then I’d like to meet you. Please give me time to warm up to you and maybe we could be best buddies!Make a donation in this dog's name at http://www.angelsrescue.org/donate. For inquiries, email firstname.lastname@example.org
