PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. —
Local law enforcement officials report a tornado was located about five miles southwest of Harvest, Alabama and nine miles north of Madison, Alabama at approximately 9:25 CST this morning. The tornado was, at that time, moving northeast at 45 miles an hour.
Emergency management of Limestone County Alabama also reported tornado damage to houses between Athens and East Limestone County High School.
A Tornado Watch is in effect until 3:00 p.m. for the Georgia counties of Dade, Walker,Catoosa, Whitfield and Chattooga.
