There are two theft suspects and the University of Georgia police desperately wants to find them.

"We've had 20 to 25 thefts over the past few weeks," says UGA Police Chief Jimmy Williamson, "and all have been similar I'm nature."

Chief Williamson tells WSB the suspects are "looking for an opportunity," and they are finding them.

The thefts have been against both students and faculty, with the thieves stealing from dorms, offices and cars.

The suspects are a black male and a black female.  The male is approximately 6 feet tall, with a light complexion and a thin build.  He also wears eyeglasses.  The female has been described as tall, approximately 5’7 to 5’11” in height, with an average build.  Both persons appear to be mid-twenties to mid-thirties in age.

The Chief says they are driving a newer model silver Dodge Avenger, and they are not alone.

"Some of the surveillance we have we were able to determine the kind of car they are driving and that they had a small child with them, an infant," says Williamson.

The items that are stolen later turn up in metro Atlanta.  Chief Williamson says the suspects may also live in the Atlanta area.

Anyone with information is asked to call the University of Georgia police.
