Augusta, GA - A major mix-up at an east Georgia movie theater has some parents furious.
Elementary kids walked into the Regal Theater in Augusta to see "Mr. Peabody and Sherman," rated PG.
Instead, they saw scenes from the appropriately named, R-rated "Sex Tape." It stars Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel as a couple whose homemade sex tape is accidentally sent to friends and family.
Parents quickly told employees the wrong movie was showing, but by then, the kids had already heard profanity and seen inappropriate material.
Regal calls it a "programming issue," and offered the children free passes to a future movie.
