Tebowing in the Big Apple!

By Tony Schiavone

It did not take the Denver Broncos long to find a suitor for Tim Tebow.

The former Heisman Trophy winner and first-round pick, has been dealt to the New York Jets for a fourth-round and sixth-round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Tebow has three years remaining on his contract, and will get a base salary of $1.1 million in 2012.

Ironically, the Jets just signed starting quarterback Mark Sanchez to a three-year, $40.5 million contract extension.  They signed also former Detroit backup Drew Stanton last week and have former Alabama star Greg McElroy.

So the question is, now will there be a quarterback controversy in New York?

You betcha.
