The ACC Men's Basketball Tournament begins this week at Philips Arena here in Atlanta; with four first round games on Thursday.

Georgia Tech finished the season in 11th place in the ACC with a record of 4-12 in conference and 11-19 overall.  The Jackets will meet Miami, the #6 seed, in the final game of the Thursday session with tip off set for 9:00 p.m.  The Hurricanes finised the regular season at 9-7 in the league and 18-11 overall.  The two teams met once in the regular season with the "Canes winning 64-49.
