The Atlanta Braves could pick up former Tampa Bay centerfielder B.J. Upton.

MLB.com cites multiple league sources, indicating the free agent has agreed to a five-year, $75-million deal with the Braves, pending a Thursday physical.

Upton batted just .246, last season, but he had a career-high 28 homes. He has also stolen at least 31 bases for the last five years, finishing just two homers shy of the 30-30 club in 2012.

Upton has spent his entire major-league career in the American League, playing with the Tampa Bay Rays since 2004.
