Road rage at Perimeter Mall parking lot

Dunwoody Police are looking for the driver who slashed a woman's tires this weekend over a parking spot at Perimeter Mall.

The woman, who wanted to remain anonymous, tells Channel 2 Action News she pulled up to the same parking spot Friday as another driver. And as she pulled into the spot, the trouble began.

"The other car that was waiting pretty much blocked my car in, was honking and pretty much just causing a major scene," she said.

The woman says she quickly got out of her car and walked into the mall.

She says, when she came out of the mall, about an hour later, she discovered her SUV had 3 slashed tires.

And that was not the only road rage incident in the parking lot.

Dunwoody Police say an elderly man was holding a spot for his wife this weekend at the same mall and another driver bumped into him.

The other driver left the scene. The elderly victim will be fine.

"I'm not even going to try and battle anybody over a parking spot," says the female tire-slashing victim. "If they look like they want it, you can have it. It's not worth having my tires slashed."
