Someone threw a concrete block against a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix that was parked in the 800 block of Fifteenth Avenue. Another piece was thrown through the rear window.
A person wearing a Burger King shirt walked into Marsh Supermarket, 621 N. University Blvd., and tried to steal lettuce by stuffing it down his pants. Once he was confronted by store employees, he removed the lettuce from his pants and took off running. The store manager called the Burger King in Middletown, described the suspect and an employee there said the man didn’t work there. The manager called the Burger King in Springboro and a worker there said the subject matching the description worked there.
About 180 Vicodin were stolen from a vehicle that was parked at Kroger. The complainant said he picked up the prescription, went back to the vehicle and the medication was gone.
A rear basement window of a residence in the 300 block of Garfield Street was busted out. Nothing appeared to be missing from the home.
An air conditioner was stolen from outside a residence in the 2000 block of Central Avenue. The complainant said he was moving out of the residence.
A 10-year-old boy reported missing from a residence in the 4600 block of Freedom Court was found walking on Verity by Access III. The boy was returned to his mother and was advised to follow the rules of the house and not to run away.
A steering column was busted out of a truck that was parked in the 1700 block of Meadow Avenue.
Two cell phones were reported stolen from a residence in the 1200 block of Woodside Boulevard.
