Despite a new Associated Press/GFK poll that shows three-quarters of those who have tried to purchase health insurance through the new exchanges have experienced problems, supporters say Obamacare is working.
Close to 50 people rallied for the Affordable Care Act at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration center Thursday.
Pat Lowery, chairwoman of the county's Organizing for Action Committee, blames an overload for the glitches experienced trying to sign up through on the online marketplaces.
"(When) you have millions of people trying to get on one website, it's not going to work," she says.
Lowery urges consumers to be patient saying they have six months to sign up for a plan.
She says in the end, 4 million Georgians will be able to purchase health insurance who otherwise couldn't afford it.
