The new GA-400/sb shoulder lanes are open each weekday from 6:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. They run from the Holcomb Bridge Rd. entrance ramp to the Northridge Rd. exit ramp, then stop, then go from the Northridge Rd. entrance ramp to the North Springs MARTA exit. We recommend not taking these lanes if you plan to go more than one exit. This has caused some confusion and changed traffic patterns, so plan extra time for your commute and be alert in the area. 

The new Maynard H. Jackson International Terminal is now open. All international passengers take I-75 to C.W. Grant Pkwy./Central Ave./Jackson Blvd. (exit 239) and all domestic passengers take I-85 to Camp Creek Pkwy./Airport Blvd. (exit 72). There are numerous, clearly marked signs in place to direct traffic from all directions to the correct locations. Remember, you can't use the new I-85 HOT/Express Lanes unless you have a Peach Pass. I-85/sb HOT/Express Lane toll rate from Old Peachtree Rd. to Shallowford Rd.: $2.35

Major Interstate Incidents: 

• RED ALERT in Barrow Co.: Tanker Truck Fire, Toxic Chemicals Involved...I-85/sb is blocked near Hwy. 211 (exit 126). I-85/sb traffic is being forced onto Hwy. 53 (exit 129) and cannot re-enter I-85/sb until Hamilton Mill Rd. (exit 120). Alternate: Take Hwy. 124, which connects Hwy. 53 and Hamilton Mill Rd., to get back to I-85. Other alternates: Hwy. 129 (exit 137) to I-985, Hwy. 53 to I-985 (though Hwy. 53 is very heavy now). 
• Cherokee Co.: Injury Crash...I-575/sb south of Hwy. 20 (exit 19). 
• Other interstates are slowing in the usual areas.

• Atlanta: Road Work...Hosea L. Williams Dr. is blocked near Screven St., east of Moreland Ave., from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. each day thru Friday. Use Hardee St. as an alternate. 
• Fulton Co.: Bridge Work...Cogburn Rd. is blocked near Webb Rd. until August 3rd. Use Hwy. 9 as an alternate.
