Fayetteville Police are searching for a man who carjacked two women outside of a nursing home before Christmas.

On Thursday Police released a sketch of the man who attacked Gloria Aultman and her 82-year-old sister as they exchanged Christmas gifts in the parking lot of the facility.

"The subject that we're looking for is going to be a medium-skinned black male in his early 20's," says Fayetteville Police Officer Mike Whitlow.

Whitlow says the incident happened on December 21 in the parking lot of the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center on Brandywine Boulevard.

Officer Whitlow also tells WSB, "it was somewhat of a struggle that ensued with the younger female (Aultman).  She was thrown to the ground a couple of times and he ended up getting in the other ladies vehicle and fleeing in it."

Police say they recovered the stolen car in Lanette, Alabama, about 70 miles from the nursing home.

Ironically items like the victim's cell phones and gift cards were still inside. So, police aren't sure why the car was stolen.

But, anyone with information on the suspect should contact the Fayetteville Police Department at (770) 461-4441.
