Major Interstate Incidents: 

  • Crash: I-285/nb (inner loop) at Chamblee Tucker Rd; blocks a left lane; police on scene; expect delays.
  • All other interstates are moving well!!!

Major Highway and Surface Street Incidents: 

  • Crash: Moreland Ave at Lyndale Rd.; police on scene.
  • Crash: Colquitt Ave. at N. Highland Ave.; police on scene.
  • Injury Crash: Fulton Industrial Blvd at Westgate Pkwy; one right lane open on the northbound side; all lanes open southbound; expect delays.

Weekend Traffic Report: 

    • All construction is as the GA-DOT reports it and is weather-permitting, so all times, locations, and lanes blocked may change and additional projects may pop-up. Listen to News 95.5/AM750 WSB for live updates around the clock.
    • Cobb Co.: I-285/nb (Inner Loop) between Paces Ferry Rd. and Hwy. 41, from 9 p.m. Friday - 5 a.m. Monday. Expect delays.
    • Atlanta: I-285/nb/sb (Inner and Outer Loops) near I-20 on the west side, blocking two lanes from 9 p.m. Friday - 5 a.m. Monday. Expect delays on I-285 and I-20 in the area.
    • Fulton Co.: I-285/sb (Outer Loop) between Camp Creek Pkwy. and Washington Rd., in two right lanes from 9 p.m. Friday - 5 a.m. Monday. Expect delays.
    • Fulton/Cobb Co.: I-285/wb (Outer Loop) from Powers Ferry Rd. to I-75, in three right lanes from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Expect delays.
    • Atlanta: I-20/wb just west of I-75/85, in three left lanes from 9 p.m. Friday - 5 a.m. Monday. Expect delays on I-20/wb and I-75/85 in the area, especially before each Hawks game.
    • Fulton Co.: I-20/eb between Fulton Industrial Blvd. and I-285, in two left lanes from 9 p.m. Friday - 5 a.m. Monday. Expect delays.
    • DeKalb Co.: I-285/nb (Outer Loop) from north of LaVista Rd. to Chamblee Tucker Rd., two lanes from 7:30 p.m. Friday - 5 a.m. Monday.  Expect delays.
    • Atlanta: GA-400/nb/sb from north of I-85 to Lenox Rd., blocking a lane from 9 p.m. Friday - 5 a.m. Monday. Expect delays on GA-400 and I-85 in the area.
    • Atlanta: Portland Trail Blazers vs Atlanta Hawks Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Philips Arena. Expect big crowds and some delays. 
    • Atlanta: Philadelphia 76ers vs Atlanta Hawks  Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Philips Arena. Expect big crowdds and some delays. 
    • Atlanta: America's Mart is taking place at 9 a.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Expect delays exiting from I-75/85/sb to Williams St. 

      Ongoing Construction and Other Closures:

      • Atlanta: Lane Shift for Sewer Line Work...Hwy. 41/Northside Pkwy./nb between Arden Rd. and Northside Dr., beginning Monday, February 2nd and until further notice. Traffic will shift to the middle lane. Expect some delays in the area as traffic adjusts. 
      • Cherokee Co.: Road closure...White Rd./Upper Sweetwater Trl. closed at Hwy. 20 through 2015.
      • Cobb Co.: Road closure...Mabry Rd. closed at Defender Dr. (Garrison Oaks subdivision) for road repair through at least the end of January 2015.
      • Cobb Co.: The new Wade Green Rd. ramp to I-75/nb is shorter than before. Be careful as you adjust to this new setup.
      • Douglas Co.: Highway 92 relocation...Streets closed include Dorsett St., Green St., Cone St., the Brown St. railroad crossing, and Hospital Drive North.
      • Atlanta: Bridge Construction...Spring Street closed from Mitchell to Marietta streets and also the section of MLK Jr. Dr. between Forsyth and Spring streets. Closures and detours are being determined and managed by the City of Atlanta. This detour is scheduled to remain in place through next Fall 2015. 
      • Fulton Co.: Line Creek Bridge Replacement...Bohannon Rd. is blocked between Mann Rd. and Creekwood Rd. until July 2015.
      • Atlanta: Road Closed Indefinitely...Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. between Northside Dr. and Centennial Olympic Park Dr. for new stadium construction. Mitchell and Tatnall Streets are alternates.

        As part of the long term managed lanes project, G-DOT has closed the shoulders on I-285 in both directions and on I-75/sb in their interchange in Cobb Co. Be extra careful in the area.
