ATHENS, Ga. —
A freshman dorm at UGA is trying to get rid of some unwelcome occupants: rats.
The university's housing director tells the AJC it may be due to the mild winter, but Creswell Hall, a high-rise dorm on East Campus, is seeing a worse rodent problem than usual.
They've hired a Norcross pest control company, which has sealed the dorm and is using mechanical traps. They're asking student residents to avoid leaving food around their rooms.
