Andrea Sneiderman taken into custody

For the second time Andrea Sneiderman is being arraigned.

The woman charged as an accomplice in the murder of her husband, Rusty, is due in the DeKalb County court later this morning.

Sneiderman was indicted last year after being indicted on multiple counts.  But the district attorney's office sought, and got, a new indictment, necessitating the new arraignment.

That new indictment includes more counts of perjury and making false statements.  Charges of racketeering and insurance fraud were dropped.

Sneiderman still faces charges of murder for the November 18, 2010 shooting death of her husband.

Rusty Sneiderman was gunned down in the parking lot of the Dunwoody Prep day care minutes after dropping off his then 3 year old son.

Hemy Neuman, Andrea's supervisor at General Electric, was convicted of the murder last March and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

During Neuman's trial, prosecutors and Neuman's defense claimed he and Andrea had been romantically involved.

Andrea Sneiderman denies it.

Following her arrest in August, Sneiderman bonded out of jail and was placed under house arrest.  She is currently living with her parents.

Her trial is set to get underway on July 29.  That's when jury selection will begin.
