Hiram Police have arrested a man suspected of robbing a Bank of America on Highway 278.  Cobb County Police Officer Michael Bowman tells WSB their detectives plan on questioning investigators.

"And to do interviews to see if it was someone who may be we believe might be involved in some of our robberies that have been occurring Cobb County," said Bowman.

Last month, the "Lollipop Bandit" hit a Wells Fargo in Mableton, and a Regions Bank in Austell, while enjoying a lollipop.

Hiram Police Detective Donald Roberts tells Channel 2 Action News 28-year-old Devin Johnson was arrested on Monday and charged him in connection with the Bank or America robbery.

"We went to a relative's house to see if we could get some information there.  He answered the door and cooperated," said Roberts.

Investigators say Johnson matches the description of the so-called "Lollipop Bandit."

When Johnson was arrested, they found him with a stash of money that may have been taken in the Bank of America robbery.

"The consequences aren't worth the payout.  He wouldn't have profited much from this," said Roberts.
