The 15-year old accused of murdering his great-grandmother in Douglas County stabbed her after she was already dead, police said.
Gevin Prince appeared in court Thursday, where lawyers played a police dash cam video showing the teen raising a samurai sword over his head and stabbing his 77-year old Mary Joan Gibbs in the chest--after she was already dead.
The video shows Prince wielding the sword and a loaded BB gun. He fired several shots, hitting patrol cars, before police Tasered and subdued him.
Prince is also accused of seriously wounding his grandmother Laura with the sword, and of using the sword to chase off two other teenagers as they tried to help his great-grandmother just before she died.
Prince is still in the Douglas County jail without bond. The case now goes to a grand jury.
