Police: Roswell nurse forged doc’s signature for drugs

By Andrew Spencer

A 27-year-old nurse has been arrested after she forged a doctor’s signature to get drugs, Roswell police said.

"Obviously," says Officer Lisa Holland with Roswell Police, "she has easy access to prescription pads."

The suspect is a labor and delivery nurse at Northside Hospital in Sandy Springs.

"She went to the CVS pharmacy with two prescriptions," Officer Holland tells Channel 2 Action News. "One was a legitimate prescription, and one was a forged prescription."

The pharmacist at the drive-thru along Crabapple Road called police. They came and arrested 27-year-old Kristin Shipp. She now faces a charge of felony forgery.
