So how bad to you want to go see the biggest game Georgia has played in 30 years?

Get ready to fork over some of that Christmas money.

Online ticket prices to Saturday’s SEC Championship football game continued to climb as Georgia and Alabama each demolished their archrivals.

No. 3 Georgia destroyed Georgia Tech 41-10, while No. 2 Alabama clinched its spot with a 49-0 beating of Auburn.

The game is a sell-out so online sellers have you at their mercy.

As of early Monday morning, the cheapest ticket on StubHub.com is $320. Those are for end zone seats, in the upper deck, about 25 rows back.

That doesn't include shipping and handling. Those add-ons would push the price closer to $400.

To move up five rows in the same section will set you back another $55.

Upper deck seats on the 50-yard-line ran $500. Lower level seats close to midfield topped $1,000.

But that’s capitalism.

The game will be a de facto national semi-final, with the winner advancing to the BCS National Championship game in Miami.

Georgia has not played for the National Championship since 1982. The last time UGA won it all was 1980.

The Crimson Tide is the defending champs.

Catch the game live on News/Talk WSB Saturday. The tailgate show starts at noon. Kickoff is at 4 p.m. from the Georgia Dome.
