The theater hosting the Academy Awards in Los Angeles will no longer bear the Kodak name.
A federal bankruptcy court approves Kodak's request to cancel its contract, valued at 72 million over 20 years. The court ruling takes effect immediately, although the theater could delay taking down the Kodak sign; at least until the Oscars later this month.
