Former DeKalb County Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney had some provocative things to say about American politics during weekend appearances on Iranian and Libyan TV.
McKinney was in Iran to take part in an anti-terrorism conference. She told government TV in Tehran the Tea Party movement in this country started out as independent of the 2 major parties, but has been taken over by one of them.
"The powers that be sent Sarah Palin in, and corralled this group, this nascent group of independent voters, and captured them again for the Republican Party," said McKinney.
Later on Libyan TV, McKinney blasted U.S. economic as well as Libyan policies.
