Winder Police have charged twin brothers with murder in connection with the discovery of a body found at their father's home.

Police Spokesman Chris Cooper tells WSB they had to officially charge 31-year-old Christopher and William Cormier in order to keep them in custody.

"At this point," says Cooper, "our investigators, with the information that had been gathered, decided to go forward with one count each of concealing the death of another person as well as a murder charge against both William and Christopher."

The murder charges came after the medical examiner declared the case a homicide.  The man -- believed to be 30-year-old Sean Dugas, a former newspaper reporter in Pensacola -- died from multiple blows to the head.

"The approximate time of death was estimated to be about a month ago by the medical examiner, which is consistent with the time frame in which the Florida man had been reported missing," says Cooper.

The body was recovered earlier this week.  It was in a plastic container encased in concrete.

The GBI tried to identify the man through fingerprints, but the body was too decomposed. Investigators have requested medical and dental records. They hope to have the results as early as Thursday.

Cooper says they still do not have a motive nor have they determined what the murder weapon was.

"We're still trying to pin down any kind of venue. You know, we don't have the location where it could've taken place," says Cooper. "We're looking into the UHaul.  We believe the UHaul was possibly used to transport the body."

They're working to get the UHaul back from Texas.  It was rented to another couple after the suspects used it.
