A 22-year-old woman has been arrested on numerous charges, including DUI, after authorities say she hit three teenagers in Douglas County.

The Georgia State Patrol's Gordy Wright tells WSB three teen girls were walking to a grocery store around 1:30 Tuesday morning when they were hit near the intersection of Maxim and Thornton Roads.

"Upon arrival, [authorities] discovered a vehicle had hit three juveniles who apparently had been walking either in the travel lane or very near the travel lane," said Wright.

Carleece Brown, Kendra Taylor, and Shania Willis -- all between the ages of 13 and 15 -- were injured.

Brown was taken to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite with a broken ankle.  Taylor was taken to Grady with head trauma and is in critical condition.  Willis was taken to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston with the most serious of injuries and is in critical condition.

Crystal Marshall is from Chicago, Illinois.

"She was taken to the Douglas County jail and charged with driving under the influence, serious injury by vehicle, too fast for conditions, slick tires, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana," said Wright.
