Jonesboro, GA —
Clayton County Police say officers surprised burlgars in a home near Bonanza Church and Panhandle Roads in Jonesboro.
When police arrived on the scene just before 2:30 P.M., the burglars scattered and officers tell WSB they ended up shooting one of the robbery suspects in the head. Turns out he was a 13-year-old boy. The teen has been hospitalized and officers say he was still alive at the time this story was posted.
Meanwhile, Clayton County Police are searching for other suspects they believed were involved in the burglary.
