Man arrested in Milton for exposing himself in park

By Jennifer Griffies

Milton Police have arrested a man for exposing himself at a neighborhood park.

Octavia Johnson tells Channel 2 Action News when she saw what the suspect was doing, she called 911.

"You don't see that everyday, some random guy taking off his clothes in the middle of the neighborhood," said Johnson.

It happened in Centennial Village off of Genesis Way, near Windward Parkway.

Captain Shawn McCarty says 38-year-old Clyde McPherson, who has a lengthy criminal record, was charged with indecent exposure, but not child molestation.

"We were not really able to determine any intent with him exposing himself. It was more the result of him being intoxicated," said McCarty.

Records show that McPherson has been arrested about 20 times in the past few years.
