Fulton County, GA —

The SEC Championship Game pits Georgia against Alabama.  East versus West.  And, in some cases, spouse against spouse.

Mandi McEwen is one of those people living in a house divided.

"We have everything that you can hang up on the walls," she says.  "We have everything Alabama and Georgia.  We have a whole room which is split between Alabama and Georgia."

The Columbus woman is a big UGA fan.  Her husband, Steven, roots for the Crimson Tide.  It hasn't been a problem before.  It will be on Saturday.

"We will not be together," she tells WSB.  "He will be with his friends that are all for Alabama.  I will be with my friends that are all Georgia.  We will be at two completely different houses."

Up until now the talk in the McEwen house has been about everything other that the game.

"We just know that we probably won't talk to each other on Saturday," she says.  "One of us will be highly upset."

But, if the Bulldogs win Mandi plans on letting Steven know about it for a long, long time.

"Probably," she says, "because he does it to me from the last time Alabama beat Georgia."

The McEwens got married in March of this year, both of them fully aware of the other's college football allegiance.  That led to an agreement the couple made before their wedding.

"The only we really talked about was when kids came into the picture," Mandi says.  "Little girls would be for Georgia and little boys will go for Alabama.  Unfortunately."
