Heightened security greets students returning to Georgia Gwinnett College.
A campus crime alert went out on the college's web site warning about a suspected rapist. GGC's Dept of Public Safety said the victim was attacked and sexually assaulted in "B" Parking Lot early Monday morning.
The victim told police she was attacked from behind and forced into her car.
She described the suspect as a light skinned black man with a muscular build and wearing white shorts.
The man fled the parking on foot.
The alert asks students to remain vigilant, be aware of their surroundings and travel in groups when possible.
