A Duluth woman is behind bars after a gambling raid at her home on Michael Circle Monday night.  The incident report shows 55-year-old Mi Hui Yi is charged with keeping a gambling place, commercial gambling, and possession of gambling devices.

Cindy Murray lives next door and tells WSB’s Sandra Parrish she suspected something illegal was going on, but not gambling.  “For about two years there’s been a lot of traffic in and out, in and out and it was mainly always just women,” she says.

Murray says at one point this spring she noticed two slot machines in the cul de sac in front of the home but thought the residents were delivering them somewhere else.

She realized during Monday night’s raid what was actually going on.  “We saw all the police come down and we saw the slot machines come out,” says Murray.

According to the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s docket several other gambling arrests were made at other homes in the area.  So far police are not saying if they are all connected.
