One of the city's most popular retail and residential hangouts may turn thumbs down to lighting up.
Atlantic Station says it's committed to providing a family-friendly environment, and on its Facebook page is asking for public feedback on a potential smoking ban.
Shopper Jennifer Drake tells Channel 2 Action News, "I'm one of those people that I walk by a smoker and I'm holding my breath until I know that air has cleared the smoke away. So, I definitely would support the ban."
But, the Facebook posts aren't all so gung-ho pro-ban. Smoker Sheleta Campbell is just one who suggest Atlantic Station designate smokers' corners so they can puff in peace.
The district hasn't said when they'll make a decision.
