Gwinnett County voters who want to cast their ballots early can now get a better idea of how long it will take ahead of time.

County spokesman Joe Sorenson tells WSB's Sandra Parrish the wait times at all five early voting locations are now listed on the Gwinnett County website.

"Now people can make an informed decision on whether a line is the length they're willing to wait," he says.

Sorenson says wait times have gone down a bit after some adjustments were made following Saturday's opening of the four satellite locations.  Wait times at some were nearly eight hours.

He says the number of early voters has now exceeded what it was in 2008 with 51,000 early votes cast as of Tuesday, compared to 50,000 four years ago.
