Hearing Canceled in Dunwoody Preschool Slaying

DECATUR (AP) -- Prosecutors say a key hearing for the man charged with murder in a November shooting death outside a Dunwoody preschool has been canceled.

Prosecutors were expected to present evidence for the first time Tuesday at the DeKalb County Magistrate Court hearing indicating why they charged 48-year-old Hemy Zvi Neuman with the shooting death of Russell Sneiderman.

Sneiderman was shot to death just on Nov. 18 just after he dropped off his 2-year-old son at the preschool. Neuman was the supervisor of Sneiderman's wife, Andrea, in GE Energy's quality and engineering department.

In cancelling the court hearing, prosecutors said DeKalb District Attorney Robert James plans to make a brief statement about the case at 10:30 a.m. on the courthouse steps in Decatur.
