Looks to be a buggy summer

By Sabrina Gibbons

Atlanta —

Does it seem like we have more mosquitoes this year? Well, we do.

The lack of freezing temps this winter means bugs and their eggs may not have been killed off sending them into a breeding frenzy. Experts are saying this could be the worst  mosquito season in decades due to a mild winter and early spring rain.  Some areas across the country are seeing record numbers of mosquitoes and about six weeks earlier than normal.

Last year the CDC got more than 600 cases of mosquito-borne viruses across the country with 47 people dying.
