Daycare Murder Victim Met With Suspect

By Veronica Waters

WSB Radio

Atlanta, GA —

The suspect in the murder of a Dunwoody man outside his son's daycare exchanged emails with his target before the shooting.

A series of August e-mails shows that Rusty Sneiderman met with Hemy Neuman over lunch to talk business together, even circulated Neuman's resume, trying to help the engineer find a new job.

Rusty's wife Andrea worked under Neuman at General Electric Energy.

After the get-together, Sneiderman wrote Neuman thanking him for the meeting.

"I can see why Andrea is enjoying working with you," said Sneiderman.

In another exchange that month, the men exchanged advice on raising kids.

Channel 2 Action News reports that Andrea Sneiderman's lawyer confirms that she and Hemy Neuman took business trips together, but he insists they were platonic.

The AJC reported Wednesday that Neuman was among the mourners who attended shiva at Rusty Sneiderman's home after his burial.

The 48-year-old offered his condolences to the family, including Sneiderman's brother, Steve, and widow, Andrea, the AJC reports.

About six weeks later, Neuman was arrested and charged with gunning down Sneiderman, 36, outside a Dunwoody day care facility on Nov. 18.
