DA Takes Lead in Dunwoody Prep Murder

(WSB Radio) -- An odd development Thursday in the Dunwoody Prep murder investigation.

Police called an afternoon news conference, then abruptly canceled it--with no explanation.

"It's a signal they're proceeding carefully to determine who else may have been involved in this crime," says WSB Legal Expert Ron Carlson.

Carlson says there's lots of pressure on Dunwoody investigators, with the case drawing national media attention.

Meantime, DeKalb County prosecutors are taking over the probe.  District Attorney Robert James says that's typical, and Dunwoody authorities are still involved.

48-year old Hemy Zvi Neuman is charged with the November 18th execution-style shooting of Russell Sneiderman, just outside the Dunwoody Prep preschool.

Neuman is the supervisor of Sneiderman's wife, Andrea, in GE Energy's quality and engineering department in Marietta.
