Dunwoody Police need your help in finding an, apparently, hungry burglar.
Officer Tim Fecht tells WSB on Monday morning, the owner of Ali's Cookies on Old Perimeter Way opened her store only to find someone had helped themselves to some of her merchandise. Besides an empty Doritos bag, there was also a cigarette box.
Upon further investigation she found that there was some cookies missing from one of the containers.
“Someone had opened the seal and took some cookies out," said Fecht.
Fecht says there was no sign of forced entry, but besides the missing food and box of cigarettes, nothing else was taken or damaged.
"It's a very interesting case. It appears that maybe someone that was just you know, a younger person, maybe with no intention of committing a major theft but wanted some cookies. Just an ill-advised prank maybe," said Fecht.
The store did not have surveillance video so anyone who may have some information is asked to contact the Dunwoody Police Department.
