Atlanta Police are looking for two men who carjacked another man who delivers money to ATM's.
Sgt. Greg Lyon tells WSB the suspects carjacked the victim's black Nissan Quest around lunchtime Friday in the 1900 block of Perkerson Road.
"He was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of a gas station, a convenience store. They actually carjacked the victim. They took his Nissan," said Lyon.
The Nissan was recovered not far away a short time later.
"The money that he was delivering to the ATM's was gone, about $20,000 in cash," said Lyon.
Lyon says it is possible that the suspects were lucky and targeted a victim with a carload of cash, but not likely.
"The chances are maybe they've seen his movements before, they've either heard or seen what he's doing with the ATM's. They thought we have an opportunity here, let's take advantage of it. That could be a possibility as well," said Lyon.
Police have recovered surveillance video from the robbery and want to talk to the person who was caught on video. Police say he may be a suspect.
Crime Stoppers Atlanta is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
