Three teenagers were shot at a house party in DeKalb County shortly after midnight Sunday, according to police.
The teens were between the ages of 16 and 19 and the shooting stemmed from a fight at the home on Creekside Place off Covington Highway at around 12:30 a.m., police told Channel 2 Action News.
While police tried to investigate the shooting, some parents were showing up at the house to pick up their children. Channel 2 crews also saw parents getting upset, saying they were not getting enough information.
“I don’t know what’s going on. They (aren’t) telling (us) anything. I don’t know if it’s a standoff or what. I just want my kids out that house,” one parent told Channel 2.
Police gave little information on the teens who were shot. They were taken to local hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries, Channel 2 reported. No arrests have been made, according to Channel 2.
